The '''Latinic people''', colloquially known as '''Latins''', are a ethnolinguistic group. Latins share a common culture, history, ancestry and language, and Latinic peoples and descendent cultures live in a wide geographic area ranging from [[Vallos]] to northern [[Levantia]]. Latinic people originated in [[Urlazio]] and formed the [[Adonerii civilization]], subsequently embarking on the [[Latin Heroic Age]] which brought Latin settlers to [[Sarpedon]] and [[Levantia]].

Latinic identity forms an important part of identity and culture for many people in the [[Occident]], and is especially central to [[Caphiria|Caphirian]] identity and nationality. Latinic identity, in many contexts, is a controversial concept, particularly as it relates to modern identity and nationality. Within some contexts, a Latin identity is a kind of claim to prestige and geopolitical power to the exclusion of other countries and peoples. While scholars, for example, would agree that [[Great Levantia|the ancient Great Levantine civilization]] was a Latin society, many in [[Sarpedon]] would dispute the Latin identity of individuals in [[Levantia]].
