The '''Working Families Party''' is a political party in [[Urcea]] which describes itself as a "Catholic [[Synodalism|synodalist]]" party and as the "party of the {{wp|Christian left}}". It was established as a splinter faction of 5 members of the [[Social Labor Party (Urcea)|Social Labor Party]] in [[2026]] by newly elected members of the [[Concilium Daoni]] of that party who were frustrated by the {{wp|secularist}} tone of the party. The Working Families Party, accordingly, embraces the interplay of Catholicism and Synodalist Marxist thought, and some party members have noted that its views are compatible with {{wp|Liberation theology}}. In its foreign policy, the party considers itself "[[Bedrock Movement|Bedrockist]]". The party presently has 20 members. It gained 13 seats in the [[2030 Urcean elections]], thereby surpassing the Social Labor Party and becoming the third largest party in the Daoni; upon the dissolution of that party, two additional delegates joined the Party's Daoni delegation.
