Canastapa is distinctly almost 100% M'acunist with 97.9% of the population following the M'acunist faith. This makes Canastapa one of the most religious cities within Canespa as it is distinct religious culture from the rest of the country. Around 92% of the M'acunist population within Canastapa mainly follows the teachings of the Plant School with the Nature school trailing at 6.5%
