The Stenzan Car Industry is a domestic industry based on the development and creation of motor vehicles within Stenza. Prior to 1973, most vehicles in Stenza were either imported (like the Standard People's Compact Vehicle or copies of foreign vehicles built by local workshops. The 1970s saw the birth of Stenza's commerical car industry however.

StenCar

The Company for Stenzan Car Production (StenCar), formerly the 3rd People's Plant for Automotive Manufacturing is a company that rose to fame producing a domestic copy of the Standard People's Compact Vehicle in 1978. The company still focuses on the production of this and other similarly cheap vehicles, with variations of the original vehicle still in production.

Oselota Cars, the successor to the 7th People's Plant for Automotive Manufacturing, is Stenza's largest and most powerful automotive company. The company is a responsible for the majority of the vehicles seen on Stenza's roads today, and holds a majority share of the vehicles exported from Stenza. The company was founded in 1982, when the Stenzan party allowed previously state-owned manufacturing plants to privatize under their current management to aid the growth of Stenza's economy. The company took off, expanding the plant's previously mostly military portfolio by adding its own civilian designs. The designs were proven to be both cheap and reliable, allowing Stenzan citizens to get around Stenza's unreliable road network in relative safely.

The Tagata A'e Mauga (Mountaineer) (Mountaineer), commonly known as the Tag or the Cardboard Car is a two or four seat four by four pickup truck designed by Lu'imi Zanu and built by Oselota Cars for both the domestic and international markets. First built in 1983 and based on Stenzan military vehicles of the time, the Tag is built to be a cheap and reliable vehicle capable of navigating Stenza's numerous treacherous unkept mountain roads. The Tag was an instant success, enabling remote communities to reliable transport both goods and people. The Tag has been updated throughout the years, with the initial 80s model being made available in 4 door and vanlike variants that retained their off-road characteristics.

Modern versions of the Tag are still in use as reliable modern pick-up trucks, with the Stenzan military using it as its main light transportation vehicle. The Tag has been both a local and international success, with an exception to Stenza's usual isolationism being made in 1987 to export the Tag to other countries. The Tag has seen service around the world where the need for a reliable, off-road vehicle arose, with many unorganized militias jury rigging weaponry on their Tags to have a light armed vehicle (Technical).
