As of late, the oldest, and the long considered major parties of the Commonwealth, the Concord Party and the Fian Party are facing membership decline at scale not seen since the turn of the 20th century as regional politics and exhaustion of the two party partisanship has led to exodus to break-away parties and minor competitive parties.
