This war was fought from 1302 until the final islamic state fell in 1567 and ushered in the First Republic and the Great Inquision which sought to expel all Muslims from the country and extinguish all threats including a small number of protestant groups. The Inquisition reached its peak in the region of Alantria where an estimated 15000 muslims were found and were subsequently expelled or forced to convert. This occured under the Oversight of The Inquisitor General Gaius Rausta.
