The '''Chancellor of the Royal Treasury and Temporary President and Majority Leader of the Common Council''' usually referred to just as '''Chancellor and Temporary President''' is, alongside the [[Procurator]], the {{wp|head of government}} of the Apostolic Kingdom of [[Urcea]]. The Chancellor and Majority Leader directs the legislature, and together with the [[Concilium Purpaidá]] which they nominate, are, depending on the role of the individual Procurator and Chancellor, collectively accountable for their policies and actions to the Monarch, to the [[Concilium Daoni]], to their political party and ultimately to the electorate. The current office is considered to have been formed during the [[Second Caroline War]], and most begin to date the "Premiership" model Chancellorship from 1845.
