Santária Yards is a major shipbuilder and shipyard, as well as a division of Valorica Marine, located in the city of Santária, Siena. Established in 1901 under the moniker Santária Dry Dock and Steel Company, the yard has since evolved into a critical component of Cartadania's maritime capabilities. Santária Yards plays a pivotal role in supporting the Cartadania Navy, being one of very few providers of submarines. It holds the distinction of being the sole entity responsible for the design, construction, and refueling of specific ship classes within the Navy's extensive fleet, particularly those of the Paora-class guided-missile frigate and several amphibious warfare platforms.
Beyond its naval contributions, Santária Yards is a rather versatile shipyard, involved in the construction of both naval and commercial vessels. Its waterfront location and historical legacy position it strategically, serving as the solitary new-construction shipyard on the Taíno-Kindredian Coast of Cartadania. This exclusivity is further underscored by its status as the largest shipyard in the region, encompassing a diverse array of capabilities on the west coast. However, it operates within the constraints of development restrictions, a characteristic that has shaped its distinct role and significance within Cartadania's maritime and shipbuilding landscape.
