RMH has achieved some of the most advanced medical procedures in Ixnay since its founding, including pioneering vaccine research and surgery through its Trauma centre. In 1967 it performed the first lung transplant at the Moorden Trauma Centre, and followed this shortly with a full heart transplant in 1969 by the same surgical staff. It has also pioneered the science of human pregnancy through the Royal Moodern Youth Medical Science Centre, where it has used gene sequencing and other advanced test to detect birth defects in the first trimester and prevent most maternal and infantile mortality, dropping these rates across Ixnay. RMH also has a vaccine and biomedical research facility that has helped to fight every major disease and virus outbreak since the end of the Second Great War. RMH's association with the Arcer Armed Forces has also benefitted its trauma centre, as it is nationally ranked as the leading trauma and intensive care hospital due to its surgery and recovery wards, helping to increase the survival of battlefield casualties due to its advances over five decades. The physical therapy ward also is a Cronan leader in advanced prosthetics and in collaboration with the biomedical facilities have begun to produce the first porotypes for electronic and sensory feedback prostheses in Ixnay that are commercially available, with the designs licensed and designed by companies in Levantia, Crona, and Sarpedon.

The hospital occupies approximately fifty buildings across the campus' acreage with a fourth major wing (Military Medicine) dislocated and housed as part of the Kinnaird Garrison. The main campus regularly sees over fifty thousand visitors weekly, and currently has a capacity of 1,400 beds staffed by over 2,000 doctors and physicians assistants, and 22,900 other staff such as nurses, physiotherapists, and specialized equipment operations (MRIs, CATSCANs, X-Ray Technicians).
Currently the four wings of the hospital are generalized into four divisions of medical science:
* Major Timothy MacHenry Wing for General Medical
*
helipad
