Arcerion had an embassy (Karaba) and consular services (Iraso) prior to the outbreak of the conflict. However, the scale of the conflict was sparked with the assault on a pair of Arco diplomats, and the eventual growth of an insurgent communist rebellion, followed by Arcer military intervention. The result was the eventual collapse of the 20th century Indigenous nation's economy and society, and while the Populist Government managed to hold out and maintain its grip on power, Arcerion severed political ties in 1961 with the closure of both offices. The Ambassador to Istrenya however recommended that Porlos be chosen as a secondary option for the main Indigenous nation to receive Arcer diplomatic services. | |||
