Trosseurs, officially the Imperial City of Trosseurs, is the Imperial Capital and seat of government of Aciria. The city is located on the coast of gulf of Cartaím. Its exact year of founding is unknown due to its ancient origins, but it is thought to have been founded around 250 BC as the seat of political power for the Three Sisters. The city is one of the three Special Administrative Regions of Aciria, ruled directly by the Emperor. The nations all branches of government are located in Trosseurs due to the close proximity of the Imperial Seat. The citizens of Trosseurs have a wide array of public transportation available to them, from an infamously complicated metro system to buses, and even government subsidized air travel to domestic destinations from the Emperor Jean I Airport was discussed.

History

Despite only becoming the official capital of Aciria after Acirien independence in 1783, it has functioned as the financial, political and religious center of the region since its founding. The city was always chosen as the neutral meeting ground to discuss peace between various tribal and feudal lords in Acirien history, alongside with its ties to the beloved Three Sisters were some of the reasons the city was chosen as the Acirien capital.

Education

The most prestigious universities and other centers of higher education are located in Trosseurs, most notably the Imperial University of Trosseurs, established in 1576. Due to the growth of the city, there is no central campus for the university, but various colleges that exist in the university are scattered around the city. Post-1783 additions to the university alongside with other centers of higher education in Trosseurs are located in the southeastern educational district, where lots of land is kept unused for possible future expansion.
