'''Jinyan the Drunk (金言醉汉)''' is a popular television character and the main protagonist of popular show '''Jinyan's Adventures'''. Jinyan is a gnome(as limited Corummese understanding of gnomes in western literature goes) who is constantly drunk, engages in lascivious and predatory behavior against women most often in the form of groping or attempting to force himself on them against their will, practices domestic violence against his wife and son and is in general abusive of most people he encounters either verbally or physically. While its never stated, there are certain clues on the show that point to [[Levantia]] as Jinyan's homeland and he implies his behavior is nothing out of the ordinary 'back home'. Due to his recurrent drinking problem, Jinyan is portrayed in the show as constantly being fired from jobs. He has worked as a policeman, a pediatrician, a taxi driver, a wrestler, a clown, a poet among many other occupations.
