Road signs in Cartadania are standardized and controlled mostly by the federal government via the Department of Transportation via the Uniform Traffic Code. All states must follow the federal guidelines, but there are some outliers. Some signage may differ in states and territories where the state code predates or is in supplement to the federal code as long as the signage is compatible. More often than not, however, the signage across the country is fairly homogenous.
