Ruthans is the common name for the North Gothic inhabitants of the Noborean region of Ruthinja, but it is also often used to refer to the more national idea of the North Gothic group in it's entirety. This sometimes even includes the Guerigs, although it is more common then to use the term Vithinjan or Viths. They originate from the lands west of the Kullaälv River but later settled parts of the Vithinjan Isles. They have been the dominant culture in Noborea since the Northern Crusades.
Language
Pretty much all speak Ruthi, although bilingualism is near universal for various other languages mainly Siarvish, Caeric and Latin.
Religion
Most follow the Church of Rolv or Agnosticism.
Culture
Glorifies violence excessively, tight-knit local communities very resistant to rulership.
