Armand-Air was established in 1928 as the Armand-Ere Aeroplane Manufacturing Division. It held this name until 1948, when it rebranded as Armand-Ere Defense Manufacturing (AEDM), when its business primarily became military aircraft. It held this name until rebranded again in 1987 to its current name - Armand-Air - as its business model shifted away from military products and towards civilian aircraft.
