Tauk is a Calderan firearms manufacturer, founded in 1855 by Johan Tauk in Neu Maessen. Tauk's designs on revolvers were the most influential firearms for 19th century police forces. Tauk was most successful during the First Great War when its firearms became world renowned for their reliability and efficiency.

History
19th Century
In it's founding, Tauk manufactured newer designs of firearms than most popular at the time, selling revolvers instead of widely popular flintlock pistols. Tauk instantly became popular for it's usage of interchangeable parts which allowed police and other owners to fix their weapons in parts instead of buying a completely new one like what was expected of other companies. Towards the beginning of the First Great War, Tauk began producing rifles, and marketed them towards both sides of the conflict.
20th Century
While the First Great War was concluding, Tauk was one of the top firearms manufacturers in the world. It allowed the company to expand rapidly into machine guns, and after the war, the company scaled back production for military and delved deeper into civilian ownership.
During the Second Great War, Tauk was forced to halt international sale on account of the Daxian occupation, but Tauk produced firearms full time for any resistance fighters including the newly founded Calderan Armed Forces.
21st Century
Business had died down for Tauk, and distrust of the company led to a near bankruptcy, until the Calderan Armed Forces adopted the Tauk C19 rifle in 2019, putting a new lease on life.
