This article is an overview of several cities in the Tierradorian Woqalate, sorted by region.
Agualariá
Holčaq
Holčaq is the capital and largest city of the Tierradorian region of Agualaría. It is located in southwest Agualaría, in the Taugee Qoyalet. It has a population of 876,343, making it the __th most populous city in Tierrador. Holčaq is one of the few “melting pot” cities in Tierrador, with the ethnic makeup of Holčaq being 41% Pan-Qabóric, 32% Coscivian, 16% Sarpedonian, and 11% other.
Holčaq is a much newer city compared to others, being founded in 1821 as an industrial hotbed for Agualaría’s growing steel industry. Songun Steel, based in Holčaq, is the largest steel-producing company in Tierrador, and the largest employer in the city.
Archeological evidence suggests that what is now Holčaq was a former Aonaali city, supposedly settled from 1900 BC to 1500 BC. A few centuries following the collapse of the Aonaali Woqalate, the area would be settled by the Abio Woqalate for 700 years, until its destruction in the Abio Wars. The Ausatakee Ruins are what remain of that settlement. They are located 10 miles east of downtown Holčaq and are one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the city.
Notable sports teams in Holčaq include the Agualaría Bluewave, who play in the OHL’s King of Tapkoii Conference, and have won three Watson Cups, in 2000, 2007 and 2015, and S.C.D. Holčaq, who currently play in the TFL Championship, the second-highest level in Tierradorian football.
