Kreśentius Skoparón was Chief Executive (Governor) of Fariva State from 2016 to 2024 AD.
The 2023 Bérasar Harbour explosion which killed most of the city's municipal leaders and the entire Kirav national soccer team save for Téodar Konsaháken occurred during his tenure. Skoparón took the lead in coördinating the response to the disaster and was hailed as a state hero.
Despite his immense popularity and near-certainty of reëlection, Skoparón chose not to seek a third term as Chief Executive. He intended to retire from public life for reasons that were never made explicit, but was elected to the Federal Council against his wishes by a 192-33 vote of the state legislature. Skoparón then sat on the Federal Council for eight years, resigning in 2032 and retiring to a non-working farm in East Æonara. Last anyone checked, he was still alive.
Other
Skoparón came of relatively humble origins. He was born in Ilūkste, Farivan Socialist Republic under the Kiravian Union, into a family of Eskean Coscivian ethnicity. His parents were employed at a state-owned plant manufacturing water turbines. He served his standard two-year conscription term with the Red Navy at the Telmar, Ventarya naval yard doing something.
