Siege of Little Caldera

Little Caldera Police faced its worst threat during the Siege of Little Caldera when the Volin militia attacked the capital and engaged in large scale combat with their allies against pro-Volkspartei forces. The police eventually successfully fended off the anti-Volkspartei forces with the help of the Calderan Armed Forces.

Fallen Officers

Since its establishment, Little Caldera Police has had 374 officers die in the line of duty. In 2003, Rand Simstein became the first Special Weapons Unit officer to die on duty.

Public Opinion

In a survey in 2030, 85% of the Little Caldera population said that they believed the LCP was doing a good job, but 62% also said that they'd support redirecting LCP funds to other community initiatives. Despite this, the Volkspartei refused to decrease funding under the premise that it would make Austro-Caldera as a whole seem less safe by ambassadors coming to visit.
