Provinces of Caldera
Austro-Caldera is divided into 3 first-level administrative subdivisions called provinces. Each of these provinces were created based around the historically largest city in that region, and differences in that region's culture and economy.

History
Being a relatively small country, Joeseph Seuber, the founder of the government of Austro-Caldera, did not see a need to divide the country into provinces. It wasn't until the 1650s that traction in the Volkspartei began to establish a province for the different ethnic groups of Caldera. On July 1st, 1658, three provinces were created for the three major ethnic groups. The Southeastern Province was dedicated to Gothics, the Northeastern Province was originally founded as a Volkspartei directed province to collect Indigeno-Calderans, but by 1735 the Volkspartei had already been voted out of power. Because of this, there was a small movement to dedicate the Northeastern province to Ænglish immigrants, but the Anglei Minority Party only won a single major victory with Winstin Stewson being elected the Plaza Head for 2 terms. The last province, the Western Province, was dedicated for any other minorities which weren't Gothic or Volin.
