This is the Zurg is a 2005 black comedy-action political satire film produced and directed by Nuuvik Kuviks and Manuel Togak in their third joint directorial work, following The Sasquatch (2001) and Alcoholics (2003). The screenplay was written by Aunó Qovalás, and stars Kuviks along with Tazqo Kentrel as two social outcasts working in the Tierradorian SBS, who, following a disastrous mixup, are accidentally tasked with posing as musicians in order to travel to Varshan so they can assassinate Varshani Zurg Rakan-ilia (Antti Gonçia) before he launches a full-scale invasion of Central and South Crona. At the time of release, which was before the Deluge, it garnered a reputation of being the most controversial films in Tierradorian history, and was the cause of many violent threats made by the Varshani government to Tierrador.
