Usage

Parameters
* denotes a required field
Parameter | Explanation | Example |
---|---|---|
season* | The year of the season; if blank, defaults to current year | 2007 |
image | An image for the rankings in that season if there is one. Follow Wikipedia guidelines. | Example.png |
image_caption | A caption for the image, if provided | Image of the 2007 season final AP Poll. |
preseason_number_1 | The team ranked #1 in the pre-season AP Poll and/or the team ranked #1 in the Coaches Poll. (only two major polls with a long history which have preseason rankings) | [[2007 Georgia Bulldogs football team|Georgia Bulldogs]] |
champions | The name of the team(s) that won the National Championship for that season. | [[2007 Buffalo Bulls football team|Buffalo Bulls]] |
conference | The football conference that had the most teams in the final AP Poll. (Reason AP is used is because BCS does not do a "final" poll after bowl games are played) | [[Southeastern Conference|SEC]] (5 teams) |
division | Omit for Division I. | III |
