Over his 22-year career, Dioshardor only lost by knockout twice, having avenged both of those losses in subsequent rematches. With a professional record of 187-18 including 106 wins by knockout, Dioshardor is ranked as the greatest heavyweight combat athlete of all time, and is regarded as one of the greatest Dioshardor was noted for his physique, normally weighing in at around 260 lbs, but he also had an exciting fighting style and displayed a level of athleticism and precision unheard of for a man of his size. After his retirement, he launched the Olive Bear brand, which sells supplements, fitness programs, athleisure clothing, and more.
Dioshardor is one of the most widely-recognized and popular combat athletes in modern Caphirian history. He was a box office sensation, having competed in some of the bestselling pay-per-view events in combat sports history. He was inducted into the Guild of Gladiators hall of fame in 2026, the Pugură Boxing Hall of Fame in 2028, and will headline the 2034 Combat Sports Hall of Fame.
Early life
Dioshardor was born on 4 April 1989 in Atucandica, a rural city in the mountainous region of the Province of Pescorto in the south-east of Caphiria. He was raised in a working-class family with his sister, who is three years younger. His father, Giano Osvasido (b. 1949), was a veteran of the Imperial Legion, and his mother, Xócharu Adesa (b. 1970), was a champion joaner [1]at the Mendarecara Riding School.
Dioshardor grew up training in track and field, namely the shorter distance events (100m, 200m, and 400m dashes) however when he was 11 years old, his parents divorced after and Giano had an affair, and he moved with his mother and younger sister Imaría to Prisamarina, a city in the Ulunkheria region of Tierrador. As a child, Dioshardor started training martial arts to protect his sister.
When Dioshardor was 15, he learned that his father was suffering from [SOME SERIOUS MEDICAL INJURY] and went back to Atucandica to visit him. Giano's health rapidly decreased and Dioshardor spent approximately 6 weeks with him. On his deathbed, Dioshardor's father is to have replied "I don't think you will be a special soldier such as myself. I failed to pass on the instinct of a true warrior...but I believe you will be a good fighter one day. So you don't have to spend your youth in the Legion, I release you. I want from you: you to train twice a day, longer and harder than any other. And I want you to make your country and your homeland proud one day." Dioshardor has described this as one of the best days of his life. After this, he embarked on a career in professional kickboxing. Initially he did not like the sport, as he was routinely beaten by more experienced students, but he changed his mind when he met Barco Sangherati - a popular Caphirian kickboxer, after which he fully dedicated himself to training.
Kickboxing career
Dioshardor had his first amateur kickboxing fight at the age of 16 while working also as a bartender. He fought 12 times, winning the first 7 matches by knockout, 5 in the first round, and losing his final two fights. (7-2 amateur)
In 2006, at age 17, he had his first professional kickboxing fight, defeating Armete Sancerosiano by first-round KO. Dioshardor fought 18 more times, all first-round stoppages. (18-0).
Etors FC (2007-2011)
Dioshardor signed with Etors FC in early 2007, already gaining attention for his imposing physical presence and highlight-reel knockouts. His debut for the promotion was at Etors FC 652 and was a spectacular 45-second knockout of veteran gatekeeper Gaius Trentasei, which went viral after Dioshardor landed a spinning heel kick that sent his much smaller opponent flying into the cage. This knockout earned him the nickname "Atucandicum Orso Olivo" (The Olive Bear of Atucandica), playing on both his homeland's famous olive groves and his surprisingly nimble movement for such a large fighter.
Throughout 2007-2008, Dioshardor fought an unprecedented 15 times, winning all but one by knockout. His sole decision victory came against decorated striker Marcus Olivarti, a fight that proved Dioshardor could maintain his cardio over five rounds. During this period, he developed his signature combination - a liver shot followed by a high kick that fans dubbed the "Bear Trap." His fighting style was unique for a heavyweight, combining devastating power with acrobatic techniques usually seen in lighter weight classes.
By 2009, at just 20 years old, Dioshardor had become one of Etors FC's biggest draw. His entrances became increasingly elaborate, often featuring traditional Pescortan mountain music and him wearing a bear pelt cloak. His first title shot was at Etors FC 701 against champion Marco Severino ended in controversy when Dioshardor was disqualified for an illegal hip throw in round three while dominating the fight. The rematch at Etors FC 728 in 2010 saw Severino retain his title via split decision in what many considered a robbery, leading to riots in several Pescortan cities.
2010-2011 marked Dioshardor's evolution from prospect to complete fighter. He added sophisticated clinch work to his arsenal, training with Kiravian wrestling champions to improve his close-range fighting. During this period, he fought 22 times, including an iconic trilogy with rival Fabricio Destro. Their third fight, which Dioshardor won via flying knee in round five, broke Etors FC's pay-per-view record and earned him another title shot, against reigning champ Titus Severianus.
The championship bout against Titus Severianus took place in June 2011 at Etors FC 762, in front of a sold-out crowd at the Colosseum Pescorto. Severianus, known for his technical prowess and defensive masterclass, had never been knocked down in his 45-fight career. The first round saw Dioshardor surprisingly employ a patient approach, using his teep kicks to measure distance while systematically breaking down Severianus's defense with low kicks. In round two, after a brief clinch exchange where both men traded knees, Dioshardor executed his now-legendary combination - feinting a low roundhouse kick that forced Severianus to drop his guard, then pivoting through with a devastating spinning elbow that caught the champion's temple. As Severianus staggered backward, visibly wobbled for the first time in his career, Dioshardor unleashed his signature Bear Trap combination - a precise liver kick followed by a high kick that knocked out Severianus. Dioshardor's post-fight celebration, climbing the cage and roaring while beating his chest, became one of kickboxing's most iconic moments.
With this title victory, Dioshardor became the youngest champion in Etor FC history at age 22. With a purse of $13.5 million and approximately $9 million from sponsorships, Dioshardor was also now a multi-millionaire and purchased a luxury home in Castra Osaniovo.
2012 GK MASTER Grand Prix
In December 2011, Dioshardor was selected via fan voting as top pick to win the upcoming Global Kickboxing MASTER (GK MASTER) Grand Prix. The Grand Prix is an invitation-only event and Dioshardor was already scheduled for his first title defense at Etors FC 768, against Pipio Sushuka - however, in an interview Etors FC President Sardo Caretro said "if the Bear wants to become a Master, who am I to stop him?" Dioshardor was subsequently invited to the Grand Prix and Sushuka fought former champion Titus Severianus for an interim championship, setting up a massive unification bout in the future.
At the 2012 GK MASTER Grand Prix in June, Dioshardor shocked the kickboxing world by achieving a huge upset by knocking out legendary three-time MASTERS champion, Honzio Orubelli, in the first round of the qualifiers. Dioshardor then won the quarter-finals match against XYZ, and advancing to the semi-finals to beat XYZ. In the Grand Prix final, Dioshardor fought XYZ in a competitive bout, with Dioshardor winning via unanimous decision. Dioshardor then subsequently competed in the GK MASTERS tournament - consisting of only previous Grand Prix winners and noteable martial arts athletes - but lost to Chelogi Veri, a Gold glove priprečo and elite kickboxer, via knockout in the 8th round. This marked Dioshardor's first-ever professional KO loss. Despite this, Dioshardor was promoted to Platinum glove and was now ranked #7 in the GK heavyweight division.
Following his loss, Dioshardor took a year-long hiatus.[2] He starred in several commercials and made cameos in popular television shows, which propelled him further into celebrity. His success as a widely-recognized athlete translated with success outside of the cage, and Dioshardor quickly signed several lucrative endorsement deals and sponsorships. In 2013, Dioshardor was on the Kinnaird Financial Times Top 10 Highest Paid Athlete's list for the first time ever, with a reported annual income of $80 million. Several weeks after the list was published, Dioshardor signed an endorsement deal with sugar company LeBlanc valued at $35 million. Dioshardor subsequently called the Times editor-in-chief Cole Leavy and requested an update to the list, as it would have bumped himself up. Leavy politely declined, so Dioshardor paid for a full-page ad featuring a graphic of the "updated" list - with every name crossed out and Dioshardor's name written in. The so-called "Dioshardor Takeover" went viral and Dioshardor entered the mainstream media for the first time.
Dioshardor purchased the villa Beyaphum in Oyashima for a reported $8 million, and paid $750,000 for two custom Neschi Sononello's to accommodate his size.
Etors Heavyweight Champion (2013-2016)
Dioshardor vs. Severianus II
At the Etors FC 773 post-fight press conference in January 2013, interim heavyweight champion Severianus did an interview calling for Dioshardor to be stripped of his title due to inactivity and campaigned for the promotion to either "strip him or promote me". The following week, Dioshardor called into Edon Sports Network (ESN) to confirm his return to the cage and that he would be fighting Severianus in a rematch to for the undisputed heavyweight championship. Etors FC 799: Dioshardor Vs. Severianus II took place in November 2013 and broke numerous records - the event drew an attendance of 52,034 fans generating a live gate revenue of $47.2 million, and sold 10 million PPV buys. Dioshardor won via knockout in the 8th round, declaring "Who else? Who else is brave enough to wander into the Bear's den?".
Dioshardor successfully defended the Heavyweight Championship 5 more times.
Dioshardor vs. Sushuka
On 28 March 2013, he had his highly-anticipated fight Pipio Sushuka at Etors FC 807. In the first round, Sushuka used push-kicks to the knee, oblique kicks, side kicks, and posting his lead arm out as he leaned away while retreating to avoid Dioshardor while slowly dismantling him. In the last 60 seconds of the first round, Sushuka stunned and broke Dioshardor's nose with two quick jab-right cross combinations. In the second round, Sushuka discolored Dioshardor's midsection with powerful round kicks to the body, dropping him momentarily. At the start of the third round, Dioshardor used a swan-neck clinch to land several side piston kicks to the body of Sushuka and, as the round progressed, Dioshardor became more and more dominant, winning most of the stand up exchanges. The momentum had switched by the fourth round, and Dioshardor began to use his veteran skills to outpoint him. The fight went the full 10 rounds and Dioshardor was awarded a unanimous decision victory. The fight was awarded fight of the year by ESN.
Dioshardor vs. Narzecian
On 20 February 2014, he faced Oro Narzecian at Etors FC 818. Dioshardor began the fight with several leg kicks, which he would keep throwing for the duration of the bout, landing 16 kicks from 22 attempts in the first round alone. Early in the second round, he knocked Narzecian down with an inside right leg kick. After 40 seconds in the second round, Dioshardor once again knocked Narzecian down, this time with a left leg head kick. He would knock Narzecian down for the third time with five seconds left in the second round, forcing the referee to wave the fight off.
Dioshardor vs. Sadi
On 4 June 2014, only four months after his previous fight, it was announced that Dioshardor would be stepping up on short notice due to the original main event for the card falling through. At Etors FC 822, the champion would fight Aziz Sadi, an experienced Audonian kickboxer riding an 11-fight winning streak. The champion stuck to his patented outfighting, damaging the challenger with low kicks and front kicks from distance early, and unleashing hand combinations later in the fight. Dioshardor won a comfortable unanimous decision with 50–45 on all five scorecards.
Dioshardor vs. Botnari
On 28 December 2014, Dioshardor fought Yahya Botnari at Etors FC 828. Dioshardor kept to out-fighting, looking to deal damage with body kicks and straight shots, while keeping his opponent at distance with snap kicks and teep kicks. With a minute left in the first round, both fighters engaged in a wild exchange, with Botnari being dropped at the end of it. He was once again dropped with a front kick, with half a minute left in the round. The fight ended in a technical knockout, as Botnari injured his left knee, following a missed spinning back kick. At the post-fight press conference, Etors FC president Sardo Caretro announced Dioshardor's next fight would be against Miron Kolas-Vašsera, a south Sarpic combat fighter known for his seamless stance-switching and elite footwork.
Dioshardor vs. Kolas-Vašsera
On 5 April 2015, Dioshardor fought Miron Kolas-Vašsera in the main event of Etors FC 832. After being knocked down twice to the canvas in the first round by Kolas-Vašsera's strikes, Dioshardor won the second round after utilizing his clinch game and landing several devastating knees. The third round saw Dioshardor open up with a head kick followed by an axe kick to Kolas-Vašsera's head. He ended the fight with a strong flurry, dropping Kolas-Vašsera against the cage where he continued his assault with numerous punches to the face.
On 27 October 2015, at Etors FC 838, Dioshardor was called out by Pipio Sushuka after his fourth-round KO of Chelogi Veri, the only man to knock out Dioshardor from the 2012 GK MASTERS tournament. In his post-fight speech, Sushuka called for his rematch:
I'm a hunter. This is what I do. I hunt. I just hunted the monster that the monster is terrified of...Everyone knows there's a giant Olive Bear lurking out there...Tearing the division up...Everyone also knows I came the closest to finishing him in this cage...I just knocked out the only man alive to knock out the champ so it's time for my vengeance! The Hunter wants the Olive Bear! — Pipio Sushuka, post-fight speech at Etors FC 838
Initially, Dioshardor ignored the callout and refused to acknowledge questions from the media about it. According to his manager, he was "exploring every option" with regards to his next fight. At the Etors FC 840 post-fight press conference in December, president Sardo Caretro was asked about Dioshardor's next fight. Caretro replied "I'll have something to share with you all very soon; the Bear is simply a different animal. How many apex predators you know that aren't finished with their food the first time, they wants seconds!"
On 15 January 2016, Etors FC held their annual press conference previewing some of their upcoming events and fighter news. After months of speculation, president Sardo Caretro made a surprise announcement that Dioshardor would be defending his title against Pipio Sushuka in a rematch, and that it was scheduled for the spring. In another surprising move, both Sushuka and Dioshardor were present at the press conference and did a face-off.
Dioshardor vs. Sushuka II
On 30 April 2016, Dioshardor fought Pipio Sushuka in the main event of Etors FC 844. The first round of the fight was somewhat even, with Sushuka exercising elusive head movement, fast kicks and good take-down defense, thwarting all of Dioshardor's clinch attempts while both exchanged punches. On his feet, Dioshardor avoided virtually any damage, constantly stuffing or evading any attempts of a left high kick, punches, or elbows from Sushuka when the two departed from the clinch. In a measured performance, Dioshardor preferred to pace himself in his standup, occasionally showing explosive bursts of striking up until the fourth round, where he executed a powerful knee in the clinch which slowed Sushuka down considerably.
The fifth round was primarily Sushuka stalking Dioshardor for large periods, stunned Dioshardor early with a high kick, dropping him; following up with multiple clean shots, which Dioshardor showed good durability in weathering. Sushuka, showing good conditioning for the duration of the bout, continued to stuff all clinch attempts, punches and left high kicks from Dioshardor and dominated with aggressive bursts of striking throughout. He hurt Dioshardor several times, until finally rocking him with a flurry in the seventh round, swarming to finish the combo with a right high kick. The kick opened up a massive gash on Dioshardor's forehead above his left eye, causing the fight to be halted on doctor's advice at 2:47 of round 7 with a TKO. Sushuka's victory marked the end of Dioshardor's five-year-reign as heavyweight champion, and also earned Sushuka the distinction of being the only man to have stopped Dioshardor in Etors FC.
In his post-fight speech, Dioshardor was classy in defeat and thanked his fans and the kickboxing community. While he didn't announce his retirement, he did say he planned on taking time away to process his loss. Several months later, Dioshardor announced he would be competing in the GK MASTER Grand Prix and that would be his primary focus until he felt ready to return to Etors FC.
Dioshardor won the 2016 GK MASTER Grand Prix after defeating Vinder Lazarescu in overtime. Dioshardor also competed and won his first GK MASTERS championship.

CRUDEX
In late 2017, Dioshardor signed an exclusive 15-fight deal with CRUDEX, a well-known combat sports promotion based in Venceia. His first scheduled fight was on 22 January 2018 against Ivan Rabadán, who he stopped in round 2 via liver shot. His next fight was on 18 April 2018 against former champion Pierandreo Alban#2. During his fight with Alban, Dioshardor suffered a torn pec injury in the 3rd round and lost via doctor's stoppage. Dioshardor underwent successful surgery in May 2018 and was inactive from combat sports for 14 months.
After a recovery period of approximately 14 months - which saw him tease a Federation Rasslin Yonderre (FRY) debut - Dioshardor returned to CRUDEX in July 2019 with a dramatic first-round knockout of Sabarino Ventre#4. This victory showcased his evolved striking style, combining his signature power with improved technical precision. During the Christmas With CRUDEX event in December 2019, it was announced that Dioshardor would get his first title shot opportunity against CRUDEX Heavyweight Champion Marcos "Onyx" Quintarelli.
His most notable CRUDEX performance came against heavyweight champion Marcos "Onyx" Quintarelli in February 2020, dubbed the "Battle of the Titans." Despite being a slight underdog, Dioshardor dominated the fight with his newly refined combination of explosive power and technical prowess. He famously ended the fight in the third round with what became known as the "Atucandican Avalanche" - a devastating combination of a liver kick followed by an overhand right that left Quintarelli unconscious for nearly three minutes.
CRUDEX Heavyweight Champion (2019-2023)
The final fight of his CRUDEX contract took place in December 2020 where Dioshardor defended his championship against veteran striker Hanno Lazarevic.
Dioshardor vs. Lazarevic
The fight was particularly significant as it marked Dioshardor's 100th professional victory. He won via second-round TKO after a brutal display of clinch fighting and knee strikes, a technique he had specifically developed during his recovery period. After defending his CRUDEX heavyweight championship against Lazarevic, Dioshardor sought to exit his contract to pursue gladiatorial combat. However, CRUDEX invoked a championship clause that required him to either defend the title until defeated or pay a substantial contract termination fee of ₳50 million. Rather than pay, Dioshardor chose to fight.
Dioshardor vs. Salvetti
What followed was dubbed "The Year of the Bear" as Dioshardor defended his title a record nine times in twelve months between January-December 2021. This grueling schedule helped him become one of Caphiria's highest-paid athletes, securing major sponsorship deals with Electron, Ramyeonba, and Imperial Cola. His most notable defense came against Orzio "Fist Fist" Salvetti at CRUDEX 388, where Dioshardor's iconic entrance in a replica ancient legionary armor garnered over 200 million social media impressions and helped set a new combat sports pay-per-view record.
Following his sixth successful defense, CRUDEX and Dioshardor negotiated a modified exit agreement. Dioshardor would defend twice more before facing rising star Valdasar de San Agarramón (with an optional rematch clause), an undefeated striker from Vallos known for his technical precision. Their fight at CRUDEX 395: "Legacy" became an instant classic, with Agarramón winning a razor-thin split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47). In his post-fight interview, Dioshardor gave an emotional speech announcing his kickboxing retirement and need for rest, though he notably avoided confirming rumors about his FRY signing.
After a year focused on healing and occasional FRY appearances, including a memorable confrontation with World Champion Rodrio Bigni at FRY's Maximum Impact, Dioshardor shocked the combat sports world by announcing his entry into gladiatorial combat. He signed what was reported as the most lucrative rookie contract in Gladiatorial Combat League history, worth an estimated ₳75 million annually with performance incentives.

Pro wrestling
While recovering from his injury in mid-2018, Dioshardor had several meetings with Arsenne de Manne, an executive of the Federation Rasslin Yonderre (FRY), one of the largest professional wrestling organizations in the world. Photos began circulating of Dioshardor training with FRY Hall of Famer DiMarco and FRY World Heavyweight Champion Rodrio Bigni, which led to Dioshardor making several crowd appearances on Friday Night Heat. This culminated with Dioshardor making his first on-stage appearance at 2019 Total Anarchy where he saved Fulcaire from The Hitman Crew. Dioshardor's surprise appearance generated global media attention, getting over 100 million views across social media in the first 24 hours.
In an interview in July 2019, the 20-year-old Dioshardor stated that he intended to pursue "a serious career" in professional wrestling, acknowledging that pro wrestling fans are some of the most passionate but that his ultimate goal is "to be mentioned without hesitation as one of the greatest combat sports athletes". Dioshardor would make sporadic appearances in FRY but would focus on kickboxing until his contract with CRUDEX expired.
