The Imperial Government of Tierradorian Woqalate, commonly referred to as the Woqalate or Teklan, is the body responsible for directly administrating the Tierradorian Woqalate. Tierrador is a semi-constitutional monarchy, meaning that the Crown assumes three distinct roles: the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the country. Three institutions–The Tribunal Cabinet, the Qangreč, and the Imperial Court–exercise the power of the Crown at the advisory of the Woqali. In theory, the nation is meant to be a federal semi-constitutional monarchy, bound on the ideas and writings of the Woqalate Charter, which was signed into effect following the Qabóri Reform on April 9, 62 AD. However, many smaller reforms and revisions to the document took place as different ruling dynasties took the throne throughout history, leading to the nation being alternatively referred to as a unitary constitutional empire.

The Government of Tierrador is one of the oldest governments in the world, lasting for nearly 2,000 years and seeing many regime changes throughout its history. The modern functions of the Woqalate are largely based off the ancient feudalist system of the Abio Woqalate, which dates back another thousand years. The Woqalate is typically administered through the executive branch, which regards its administration system as unique, due to it actually does not feature a system of checks and balances, instead being administered solely by the Woqali through the executive branch. The legislative branch consists of the Qangreč and the Qangreč Šawardet (standing committee). It passes statutes and votes on the budget; it controls the action of the executive through formal questioning on the floor of the house of the Qangreč and by establishing commissions of inquiry. The constitutionality of the statutes is checked by the Tribunal Court, members of which are appointed by the Woqali and the Speaker of the Qangreč.

Tierrador’s independent judiciary system is referred to as Woqalate Law. It is derived from the civil law system, which in turn evolved from the Caphiric legal system. It is typically referred to as the judicial branch of the Woqalate, made up of two distinct court systems: the Imperial Court, which is the most common court system, Tribunal Court, which is mostly prevalent in rural areas. The Woqalate, in theory, includes various bodies that check abuses of power and independent agencies, however, these rulings are typically not enforced. Tierrador is commonly regarded as a federation; complete with major and minor administrative subdivisions, with their respective powers and responsibilities as spelled out in the Woqalate Charter.
