History
The founder of the company, Giovaldo Ombrello, was born in the town of Crotta in Aciria Marini on 17 August 1914. Ombrello's father ran a local fishery.
Ombrello went on to study pharmacy at the University of Marocino, where he graduated from in 1938. Due to the increased demand of pharmaceuticals, Ombrello partnered with Soleramo entrepreneur Giardo Carusso, who he bought out a medical warehouse with in 1940 and founded Parasol Pharmaceuticals two months later. Distributing pharmaceutical ingredients across Santa-Beatrice and soon expanding their business to nearby regions, and eventually having to move out to a larger warehouse and office. It was at this time in 1942 when Cavorio Milando was included in the company, responsible for managing the further expansion of the company. Aciria eventually joining the war made doing business harder for Ombrello and his associates, but it didn't stop them. Closely working with the Imperial Army Medical Corps ensured Ombrello or any of his associates weren't drafted due to their essential part in the company. After the ending of the war, the company expanded by buying out local plants and laboratories that had gone out of business during the war, allowing Parasol Pharma to research and produce their own pharmaceuticals for the first time.
Parasol Pharma made its first overseas acquisition in 2005 with the purchase of Usan Uiyagpum, which manufactures and distributes their products in Metzetta.
