Saint Hendrick

Saint Hendrick, born Henry Browen, was abbot of a monastic order in the modern Kestrel Isles and a skilled orator who lived in the eighth and ninth centuries A.D. after the collapse of the Gothic-controlled territories under Eleglass of Cranwyrth. His connections both with travelling Christian preachers and his position as second son of a Holy Levantine noble family allowed him to attain the permission of the Principality of Itheachan, the primary power in the northeastern Vandarch of the era, to construct permanent Christian churches and repeal anti-Christian decrees, which significantly impacted the speed of Christianization in Northern Levantia. As a Saint, Browen is considered a patron saint of lone travelers and diplomats in the Catholic Church, as well as a patron of the laity more broadly in the Northern Rite.
