Telohakee is the most populous Commonwealth in the Tierradorian Woqalate. It is bordered by Alcosky to the west, the Orixtal Sea to the south, and the commonwealths of Moscakee, Tansher, Onancía, and Qaleqa to the east. Telohakee covers an area of 733,533 square kilometers, making it the third-largest commonwealth by area in the Woqalate, behind only Ulunkheria and Teschego. In terms of population, however, Telohakee's 32,126,525 inhabitants make it the most populous commonwealth, almost 8 million residents larger than the second most-populous, Ulunkheria. Telohakee is sometimes referred to as the Woqalate of Telohakee, due to historically being the center of the Prairies Woqalate, which existed for a few decades until its conquest by the Tierradorian Confederation in 1805. Telohakee is ruled by a Woqali, though that position is purely ceremonial, holding no power in Telohakee's government. Telohakee is nicknamed as the Four Star Commonwealth, due to its description as "a union of four independent Qoyalets" during its tenure as part of the Western Republic and as the Prairies Woqalate. The Four Stars of Telohakee are found on the commonwealth's flag and commonwealth seal, and they play an integral role in Telohakee's identity as a Tierradorian commonwealth.

Originally, Telohakee had been colonized by the various different Woqalates of South Crona, being at the center of most of them. The Tulatula'ali qoyalets were established in 62 AD by the Abio Woqalate, and consisted of Telohakee and Alcosky, along with some parts of Moscakee. After the fall of the Abio Woqalate, the Tulatila'ali qoyalets were later split reorganized into the Alóqal, Undursky, Qazrogzo, and Ozalaz qoyalets by the Qabóri Woqalate. As the qoyalets were the only form of subdivision established throughout the first Woqalate's history, there was no mention of Telohakee besides the lands claimed by the Telohakee Nation, which were scattered throughout the aforementioned four qoyalets. Eventually, as the Qabóri Woqalate began to destabilize in the 18th century, Undursky and Qazrogzo would join modern-day Alcosky and Ulunkheria in forming the breakaway Western Republic, which lasted for almost 150 years. Despite this, Telohakee's role was very unstable, and before the end of the 18th century, Telohakee would undergo the Telohakee Revolution, which saw its independence as the Prairies Woqalate in 1779. The Prairies Woqalate would be regarded as even more unstable, and would eventually fall to the Tierradorian Confederation during the Takosenic Wars. In 1805, the Woqalate would be dissolved and admitted as the Commonwealth of Telohakee. After the reinstatement of the Qabóri Woqalate in 1823, Telohakee's Woqalate would also be reinstated, however at a ceremonial role.

Telohakee's economy is shaped by five major industries: energy, timber, cattle, bison, and defense. After admittance into the Woqalate, Telohakee was the country's largest exporter of tropical timber, as the lower, flatter terrain brought along many lush rainforests with an abundance of timber. Ultimately, the discovery of oil, natural gas, and other valuable minerals led to the Telohakee energy boom, which saw the commonwealth slowly turn from a timber-dominated economy to an energy-dominated one. From that point onward, the energy industry had always been Telohakee's strong suit, as it came to dominate it during the mid to late-20th century, turning it from having a fairly weak, timber-focused economy into having one of the highest GDPs and the most diversified economy of any Tierradorian commonwealth. Telohakee was also the first commonwealth to be completely powered via nuclear energy. Because of these high-tech advancements in Telohakee, the Imperial Government under the Walakee State began to invest heavily into Telohakee's defense capabilities. Telohakee-based Aquila Solutions played a key role in the advancements made by the Tierradorian Defense Forces, including the Tana'oska nuclear weapons program.

Miccubo, Topaqoí, and Kaligrusky are the three largest cities in Telohakee, and are also the 5th, 9th, and 11th-largest cities in Tierrador, respectively. Telohakee's capital and administrative center is Tomaba, in the Qazrogzo Qoyalet, which is the 48th-largest city in Tierrador. Most of Telohakee's population centers are located along its coast on the Orixtal Sea, with the inland areas being very sparsely populated with few major urban areas. Vernaza is the largest city in Telohakee that is not on the Orixtal Sea. Telohakee developed a diversified economy and high tech industry during the mid-20th century, and as of 2032, it has the most Teklan 250 company headquarters in the Woqalate. Telohakee has the largest GDP of any commonwealth, at $2.7 trillion, and the commonwealth leads in many industries, including energy, agriculture, petrochemicals, computers and electronics, aerospace, and biomedical sciences.

History

Geography

Telohakee has a land area of 733,533 square kilometers, making it the third-largest commonwealth in Tierrador, behind Teschego and Ulunkheria. Telohakee is also the second-largest commonwealth in mainland Tierrador. Most of Telohakee's geography is low, flat terrain, with the more rural areas of the commonwealth being covered in dense tropical forests. Telohakee is in the central part of mainland Tierrador. Its eastern border with Moscakee is largely defined by the Nateheko River, a tributary of the Moscakee River. Telohakee's border with Tansher is mostly defined by Lake Vernaza, its borders with Onancía and Qaleqa are situated along the eastern reaches Qalhéq Mountains, while its western border with Alcosky is defined by the Telohakee River.

Telohakee has several regions, which is represented by its four Qoyalets; Alóqal, Caxano, Qazrogzo, and Undursky. Alóqal is largely coastal and tropical, making up most of Telohakee's coast on the Orixtal Sea, in what is known as the Gulf of Telohakee-Alcosky. Vegetation in this qoyalet is largely tropical-origin, including tropical timber, fruits and vegetables. Alóqal's climate is fairly warm, as it is located primarily on the equator. This qoyalet makes up the highest percentage of the Coastal Equatorial Telohakee region. Meanwhile, Undursky makes up the Northern Equatorial Telohakee region, and a small strip of the Coastal Equatorial region. Western Undursky is fairly similar to Alóqal, however to the east largely consists of prairie and steppe regions. Eastern Undursky is typically referred to as the origins of the Prairies Woqalate, hence the entity's name.

Caxano is mostly prairie and steppe as well, however the region typically has a more mountainous climate, owing to its location on the Qalhéq Mountains. This is a similar case with Qazrogzo, with an exception being the southwest portion of the qoyalet having a more coastal and tropical climate, similar to that of Alóqal's climate. The highest temperature recorded in the commonwealth was 115 degrees Fahrenheit, on the Equator in Telosatalat. The lowest temperature recorded in Telohakee was 8 degrees Fahrenheit, deep in the northern mountains in Ratnasett.
