University of Maresia (Cartadanian: Universidade de Maresia; Charentais: Université de Maresiane, commonly referred to as UM or Maresia) is a public research university in Auvergne, Maresia. The university was founded in 1714 in what is now the University Quarter, under the name Maresia Commonwealth College.

Initial enrollment was 1,202 students; enrollment in 2023 exceeds 70,000 students from 44 countries, all 36 states and territories, as well as Alahuela. The university is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity," and as having "more selective" undergraduate admissions, the most selective admissions category. Among public universities, the University of Maresia has been one of the nation's top three producers of doctorate degrees and renowned scholars over the past twenty years.
