Giulia is an administrative district of Alahuela and the true seat of Cartadania's federal government. The nation's supreme court, national capitol, and presidential estate are all located within the district's boundaries, as well as the city's administration. With a 2024 population estimated to sit at around 449,502 people, it is the most populous of Alahuela's nine districts. At 6,936.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (17,966/sq mi), it is also one of the most densely populated places in the country.
