MILCAR, an acronym for Militares Carrocerías, is an Pelaxian multinational transport vehicle manufacturing company based in Albalitor. It designs and builds light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles, quarry/construction site vehicles, city and intercity buses, and special vehicles for applications such as firefighting, off-road missions, the military, and civil defence. The name MILCAR first appeared in 1925 by decree of General Benedicto Álvaro Camargo with the goal of developing a national heavy industry focused on the logistical and military needs of Pelaxia at the time. Its production plants are in Pelaxia, Cartadania, Burgundie, and Metzetta, and it has about 5,000 points of sales and service in over 160 countries. The worldwide output of the company amounts to around 95,000 commercial vehicles with a turnover of about $Sl 10 billion.
The company was spun-off on 1 January 2025 and is part of Genêt N.V., a holding company incorporated in Vilauristre, Burgundie, which is listed on MERVAPEL.
