Climate
The Albion is quite cold, even compared to the Nysdra Sea, and has many icebergs and seasonal sheets that make passage difficult. In addition, it has none of the protection the Nysdra does from storms from the wider ocean, leading to terrible winter monsoons that frequently claim dozens of lives.
Ecology
Due to its location, the Albion sea tends to collect detritus and marine life from a deep ocean current from the south, leading to a very active geothermally-powered seabed filled with life. In contrast to its surface, the bottom of the Albion is home to a vide variety of species. Its shallower waters are full of coldwater species of fish.
