Kalvertan Coscivian is a Cosco-Adratic language widely spoken in the Kiravian states of Ventarya, Hanoram, and Trinatria, where it has official status. Originally the ethnic language of the Kalvertem people of the Bay Islands, Kalvertan Coscivian became widely spoken as a trade language across the mainland areas of the Baylands, eventually replacing Vexin Coscivian as the inter-ethnic lingua franca of the region. Due to the illustrious seafaring history of the Baylands, there exists numerous Kalvertan-speaking communities overseas.
