logo
Used to provide an image of the logo of the annual contest.
year and edition number
Year in which the contest is held and number of the edition of the contest (e.g.: 1st, 57th, ...).
dates
Dates during which the contest was held.
presenters, artistic director and orchestra leader
Specify the any applicable staff here.
broadcaster
The main domestic or host broadcasters of the season.
venue
The venue in which the annual contest was held.
winner fields
These fields are used to specify information about the winner and the winning song in each section, once one confirmed.
number of acts and songs
These fields are used to specify the number of competing acts and songs in each section. Since in several contests each song was performed by more than one artist, while in other contests each artist performed more than one song, both of them are needed.
voting system
Specify, for each section, the mechanism adopted to select the winning entry (televote, jury, mixed system, ...)
other section fields
Use these fields to specify details about sections different from "Big Artists" and "Newcomers", as the Sanremofestival.59 in 2009 or the "Upcoming Artists" section in 1989.
Eurovision Song Contest
If the annual contest was used as the selection process for the Italian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest, use these fields to specify how the entry was selected (e.g.: winner of the competition, internal selection among participants, ...) and the name of the selected artists.

Providing the page titles for the applicable pages will generate succession arrows between different editions of the contest.
