Field Type Description
country * Name of the country in which the investigation is being conducted; in some cases the country should begin with the word "the", such as "the Central African Republic".
situation_number * The number assigned to the situation by the International Criminal Court; the format should be two numbers (which usually starts with a zero) followed by a slash followed by two more numbers, which are the last two numbers of the year the situation was opened.
referral * The body that referred the situation to the International Criminal Court; this will either be a country that is a State Party to the Rome State of the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Security Council, or a Pre-Trial Chamber within the International Criminal Court.
referral_date * The date on which the referral was made; should be in day, month, year format.
begin_date * The date on which the formal investigation into the situation was announced. Use {{Start date}}.
incident * The event or events that led to the commission of crimes; this will usually be the name of a conflict, battle, or atrocity. If there are multiple events each one should be separated with "<br>" so that each appears on its own line.
crimes_groupA * A general group of crimes; this will either be "genocide", "crimes against humanity", "war crimes", or "crimes of aggression" (in that order). If another more groups of crimes must be added crimes_groupB, crimes_groupC, and so on should be added.
crimes_group_A_1 The specific crime from the first group of crimes; this will be the specific crime the fits under the general heading of the first crime group. Up to twenty can be added for each crime group. The crimes should be in alphabetical order.
suspect1 The name of the first suspect. Only include the first and last name, in that order. Up to 20 can be added.
status1 The criminal status of the first suspect. This will either be "fugitive", "case in pre-trial stage", "case in trial", "appealing trial judgement", "charges dismissed", "deceased", "serving sentence", or "completed sentence". Up to 20 can be added.
