Usage
The infobox may be used to summarize information about rankings of India universities and colleges. This infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article. Insert only the ranking into the template field (i.e., "1" not "1st," "2" not "2nd," etc.).

Parameters
The last four digits are the year of ranking. Only very specific (usually latest) years are available.

Named references
The template creates named citations which can (and should) be used in the article body. The name of the reference for ranking X is Rankings_X, e.g. Rankings_NIRF_O_2020 for NIRF overall ranking 2020. Use it with <ref name=Rankings_NIRF_O_2020/>.
Tracking categories
- For all the outdated (not latest version) rankings.
- For maintenance work. Used to tag individual or a set of rankings, e.g.
