Territories of Aciria. 1. Santa Beatrice 2. Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of Cratoa.

The Administrative Divisions of Aciria are based on historical kingdoms that historically existed in the region. The constitution of Aciria establishes three levels of government, with the highest power granted to the Emperor of Aciria. Secondary administrative powers are granted to Imperial Governors which rule over Imperial Governorates. Imperial Governors also are known as Imperial Envoys in the special administrative regions. Imperial Governors are appointed for life by the Emperor. Third level of government are the integrated territories, ruled by representatives appointed by the Imperial Senate. Despite varying levels of autonomy in specific regions, all citizens of Aciria are subject to the mandatory conscription , and are eligible for a position in both the People's Senate and the Imperial Senate.

Types of Divisions

The nation is divided into three Imperial Governorates, one special administrative region and the Imperial Dominion of Montverde.

Aciria Proper

The largest Imperial Governorate by both population and landmass is Aciria Proper, which is made up of the integrated territories of Valariano, Aciriani Marini, Porto Nord and Santa Beatrice. The governorate is made up of the historical kingdoms of Aciria and Pantevenna, which are represented by Valariano and Aciriani Marini. Porto Nord and Santa Beatrice are made up of various citystates and petty kingdoms which formed in the areas, but were unable to match either the economic or military might of Aciria or Pantevenna. The special administrative region is also located in Aciria Proper, which is the Imperial City of Trossera, ruled directly by the Emperor of Aciria instead of an appointed Imperial Governor.

Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of Crasoa

The appointment of the first Imperial Envoys to both Malatra and Crasoa happened shortly after the end of the Second Great War in 1943.

The Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of Crasoa is made up of the islands of Port Arlone and Lides and lays claim to the historic Kingdom of Crasoa. Due to its recent acquisition, and its different culture and language, the governorate was granted a level of autonomy, with the appointed King of Crasoans as the de jure leader of the governorate. However, the King of Crasoa has little actual power, with day to day operations of the kingdom ran by the appointed Imperial Envoy to Crasoa, who also answers directly to the Emperor of Aciria.

Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of Malatra

The Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of Malatra was granted an integration period following its annexation, resulting in a century of autonomy for the Kingdom. The Kingdom is ruled by the appointed King of Malatrans. Like with the Kingdom of Crasoa, the King has little actual power and the Kingdom is ruled de facto by the Imperial Envoy to Malatra who runs the day to day operations.
