| The '''Most Distinguished Imperial Order of the Holy Cross''' is a [[Holy Levantine Empire|Levantine Imperial]] [[Levantine Catholic Church|Catholic]] order of chivalry, rewarding contributions advancement of the cause of the Levantine Union and the Levantine Catholic Church. The Order was established by Emperor Conchobar III in 1555 as a reward for those giving service to faith and Empire during the [[Great Confessional War]]. Like some other institutions of the Holy Levantine Empire, the Order continued to exist past the [[Treaty of Corcra]], and it exists today in the stewardship of the [[Apostolic King of Urcea]], who also holds the title of [[Emperor of the Levantines]]. Since the end of the [[Great War]], membership in the Order has been granted for those who perform an act of service for the [[Levantine Union]], recognizing it as a successor of the Empire.
