The House d'Everard is a Yonderian noble house founded in 1470 during the Conquest of Joanusterra by the Gothic crusader marshal Radzig Eberhard, Burgified to Rachet d'Everard. The House d'Everard are Barons of Yonderre, meaning that they are sworn directly to the Grand Duke of Yonderre as liege lord rather than through a Count. The House d'Everard's seat is the Bourg d'Everard in Sainte-Catherine, Kubagne. The current head of the House d'Everard is Associate Judge of the International Justice Court Rachet d'Everard.

The House d'Everard has birthed numerous influential Yonderians in the fields of art, sciences and military. By tradition, the heads of the House d'Everard are always named Rachet or Phillipe and are never followed by a numerical denominator.

Motto

The motto of the House d'Everard, Du doch nicht! translates from Gothic as "Definitely not you!". The motto refers to an incident during the Conquest of Joanusterra wherein the Gothic crusader Rachet d'Everard at the head of a small force was offered to surrender to a numerically superior Gothic army. When asked how he thought he could possibly win the battle by a Gothic commander, d'Everard responded laconically with Du doch nicht!.
