English: ZAGAN, Poland – A tank crew from 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, maneuvers their tank into firing position Jan. 19 during a gunnery range. The Soldiers will spend the remainder of the month training and making sure their vehicles are in good-working order before deploying across Europe for use in training with partner nations. This rotation will enhance deterrence capabilities in the region, improve the U.S. ability to respond to potential crises and defend allies and partners in the European community. U.S. forces will focus on strengthening capabilities and sustaining readiness through bilateral and multinational training and exercises. |
