The Army of Conquest is a Daxian army group operating on Crona. Originally formed in the early 1990's during border wars with Rusana, its area of operation was shifted to the Cronan landmass during the period known as The Deluge to support Daxian expansionist interests.

Creation of the Army

The Army of Conquest was originally formed in november 1991 in the run-up to the Third Invasion of Rusana, during a period of political instability as the government of Linge Chen was only beginning to consolidate its power. The politically unreliable Captaincy-General of the West, highly autonomous under the previous regime, was dismantled and its staff officers purged. The Captaincy's military assets were reformed into the Army of Conquest and reinforced with 10 divisions of raw conscripts and 2 recruited among Party faithful. In overall command was placed General Bort Borg, a PCD sympathizer.
