The Fourth Kin War was a conflict which took place between Faneria and Fiannria in 1887-88. It resulted in a surprise Fiannrian victory following the capture of the Fanerian monarch, Rethys V and was a major contributing factor in the rise of anti-monarchy sentiment in Faneria, as well as establishing the modern border between the two states with the exception of Whiteglen.
