Princess Haeki (born 1943) is a member of the Metzettan Imperial Family and married into the Urcean House de Weluta in 1965 at the age of 22. Her father was Emperor Seozwi.

Early Life

Haeki was the youngest of Seozwi's four daughters. She was born in the final year of the Second Great War while Jan-Hu was Emperor. She learned English from birth alongside Metzi to prepare her for her ambassadorial life. From her early teens she was a prolific painter of landscapes, and her paintings of the Metzettan countryside (and later Urcean countryside) have functioned for her as a diary of sorts. During her later life of philanthropy she would sell many of these paintings for the benefit of charity. One of her many paintings of Mount Riwa is on display at Inyang Gallery of Arts. She converted to Catholicism shortly after meeting her future husband Niall de Weluta.

Marriage and Children

During the reign of Empress Seunsi, Haeki married Niall de Weluta (1940-2021) of Urcea. He was the son of Donnchad IV and the younger brother of Aedanicus IX. Haeki is the great aunt of both the current Urcean monarch, Emperor Riordan VIII and the current Metzettan monarch, Emperor Hachi.

Haeki and Niall had 4 children; Leo de Weluta (born 1967), Patrick de Weluta (born 1970), Andrea de Weluta (born 1972) and Christina de Weluta (born 1974). Leo de Weluta is Urcea's current ambassador to Metzetta and has held the role since 1998. All four children have had children of their own, making Haeki and Niall grandparents several times over.
