The '''Ixa'Taka Autonomy''', also known as the '''Republic of Ixa'Taka''' is a semi autonomous statelet that exists within the administrative borders of [[Daxia]]ese [[Xisheng]]. Located in the core of the pre-Deluge Ixa'Taka kingdom, the autonomy concentrates around eighty-five percent of all ethnic Ixa'Takans within its borders. Unlike the [[Chimoche]] Autonomy to the east, Ixa'Taka's monarchy did not survive the transition to [[Daxia]]ese rule. Instead a new republican regime has been installed in power led by a strong executive presidency. Ixa'Taka maintains its own security forces which have been deployed in border disputes with [[Chimoche]] over the settlement of Mezro.
