The Ixa'Takan Autonomy, also known as the Republic of Ixa'Taka is a semi autonomous statelet that exists within the administrative borders of Corummese Xisheng. Located in the core of the pre-Deluge Ixa'Taka kingdom, the autonomy concentrates around eighty-five percent of all ethnic Ixa'Takans within its borders. Unlike the Chimoche Autonomy to the east, Ixa'Taka's monarchy did not survive the transition to Corummese rule. Instead a new republican regime has been installed in power led by a strong executive presidency. Ixa'Taka maintains its own security forces which have been deployed in border disputes with Chimoche over the settlement of Mezro.
