| For centuries a market town of little wider importance, Schulahaun was catapulted to prominence by [[the Industrial Revolution in Hendalarsk]] due to the many coal seams in the area and its strategic location in the centre of the country, which made it a natural hub for the country's burgeoning [[Railways in Hendalarsk|railway network]]. Despite its devastation in the [[Hendalarskara Civil War]], in which it was a key battleground, Schulahaun rebounded quickly in the subsequent decades of peace, with much of its reconstruction taking place in the landmark [[Neukláheid]] architectural style, and the city is now a key part of Hendalarsk's green "second industrial revolution". Schulahaun is also one of the country's major cultural centres, particularly in music and cinema.
