Effrasă is a Caphirian multinational corporation and conglomerate specializing in luxury goods, headquartered in the Iscasta Province of Caphiria. Founded in 1994 by Eranquino Tăncino, Effrasă has grown to become one of the largest luxury goods companies in the world, with annual revenues of over $70 billion.

Effrasă controls 40 subsidiaries across five divisions - Fashion, Wines and Spirits, Perfumes, Watches and Jewelry, and Activities. It is the largest luxury goods company in Caphiria and one of the largest in the world, with annual revenues of over $70 billion and owning some of the world's most prestigious brands. From the company's founding in 1994 to 2024, Tăncino was Chairman and Chief Executive. However, he resigned to pursue a political career, and longtime business partner Aurenzo Polutierrapé has been Chief Executive since. Tăncino still maintains the title of Executive Advisor. In 2027, Aidrela Veri was hired as the first Global Creative Director.

History

Effrasă was formed in 1994 when founder Eranquino Tăncino acquired the fashion house Resevain from business magnate Aletonessio Mardichellesci. Tăncino transformed the brand into a popular and sought-after name by hiring controversial creative directors for each season, generating excitement among both publications and consumers.

Following the success of Resevain, Effrasă acquired more fashion houses, including Disere and Âzal, and diversified into other luxury markets, such as wineries Oruarão, Caccoppurà, and Ilo Garrafeira.

In 2001, Effrasă announced its largest acquisition at the time, purchasing iconic house Vevame Atelier for $7.5 billion. The company hired Rosynthi Bălcentili, a then-relatively unknown designer, as the creative director for Vevame Atelier. Bălcentili's dramatic and intricate shows, as well as her finely-tailored and imaginative designs, garnered attention and helped elevate the brand. The Spring/Summer 2002 collection for Vevame Atelier, which included the first men's line called Vevame Aize, featured a massive $100 million marketing campaign with massive billboards and a highly-anticipated reveal of the mystery model, a young Constantinus I, the then-Princeps Juventatis. The campaign's success led to record-breaking ticket sales for Septimana Modio Caphiria (Caphiria Fashion Week) and increased Effrasă's valuation exponentially.
