|The minimum wage in Puertego is set by the Puertegan Ministry of Labor with it being adjusted every 5 years to keep up with inflation with it currently being set as the equivalent of $2.50/hour, the minimum wage is the same across all sectors of the economy and regardless of the workers age. Besides minimum wage there are very few government mandated benefits for employment with it primarily being the employers choice whether to offer benefits to their workers or not. The Ministry of Labor in Puertego also makes it illegal to force a worker to work more than 60 hours a week (6 days a week 10 hours a day).
