In 2014, Mirvicko left the GDP and founded his own party Strong Grajnidar, this all just months before the upcoming elections. It is said that it was because the leaders of the GDP didn't offer him any position in the goverment in the case of a win, but Mirvicko himself later said that this didn't have to do anything with his leave and that he was just unhappy with the state of the party and its planned policies. The newly created Strong Grajnidar party then, to everyone's surprise, achieved enought votes to get to the parliament with 2 seats. While this wasn't much, it was the start of the rise of Strong Grajnidar as a major oposition party to the dominant Grajnidaren Democratic Party. Under his lead, the party achieved 39 seats in the 2018 elections and astonishing 102 in the 2022 ones.
