Usage
Creates a familiar notation for party/state affiliations of U.S. congressional representatives in the form of ([Party initial]-[state]) with appropriate linkage to relevant articles
Examples:
{{rep|R|Texas}}becomes: (R-Texas){{rep|D|Illinois}}becomes: (D-Illinois){{rep|I|Vermont}}becomes: (I-Vermont){{rep|D|NJ}}becomes: (D-NJ){{rep|R|ID}}becomes: (R-ID) (N.B. in this case the template avoids the use of the ID redirect.)
