The Feallsanrih (shorthand FSR, Aeng. The project was first proposed in 1948, but was not initiated until 1966 with the foundation of the state-owned company General Computer Design as a design and production firm for computer components.

Project History

After the project's start in 1966, the engineers and computer scientists involved were immediately faced with a dearth of native computer systems manufacturers and experience in Faneria, partly due to the newness of the field and partly due to Faneria's reliance on early foreign systems in the postwar economy. The solution was simple and expensive: build a microelectronics industry from the ground up.

The first twenty years of the project was consumed with education, experimentation with personal computers, and research and development, but funding remained consistent and the program was considered an enormously important long-term investment. Funding increased after the start of the space age, with Faneria's government pushing for early prototypes, eventually leading to the FSR Beta.

FSR One

After the Success of the Beta, the FSR One launched with a total of twelve units produced, being the first multi-node supercomputer in Faneria and reaching a maximum speed of 1.1 teraflops. The produced platforms were distributed - three to the military, six to the state bureaucracy, two to computer science colleges, and one was sold to Brumalea in 1998.
